Bethlehem Twp, PA with Wife Eliz. and 3 children c. 1778. He moves to Jefferson Co., KY c. 1791 and nothing is known of him after 1808. His son Wm. (Sr) m: Mary Childers. Wm. (Sr) & John (Jr) moved to IN c. 1814. Wm. (Sr) had Wm. (Jr) who m: Hannah M. Fordyce. They had Joseph Lane who m: Louisa A. Reid. They had Otto Ervin(twin) who m: Malinda Ellen South. They had Arville Ervin who m: Leoma Fleetwood. They had Gene Ervin who m: Mickey Lee Fountain. They had me. Stories are told of John (Sr) having 7 brothers in Ireland fighting the British. There is a book "Dowlings of Southern Indiana by Enos Dowling" which I have a copy. I will glady share all that I have on my Dowling's. I hope to trace my family back to Ireland. Any of my cousin out there?
