Witnesses to James and Anastasia's wedding were John Dowling and Thomas Kehoe. Michael was a brother of James. Michael married Mary Bolger possibly the sister of Anastasia Bolger. The Bolgers were neighbors to the Doolans with lands in Ballynabanogue and in the next-door townland of Coolback. Martin Doolan and Johanna Furlong had at least one son, John, my great-great grandfather, baptized 1829 in the Cushinstown parish register showing Maria Bolger as a sponsor.

Citation Text: Brian: My mistake. The records show the following: James Doolan and Anastasia (Anty) Bolger, married 1785 were the parents of Martin Doolan. Witnesses to James and Anastasia's wedding were John Dowling and Thomas Kehoe. Michael was a brother of James. Michael married Mary Bolger possibly the sister of Anastasia Bolger. The Bolgers were neighbors to the Doolans with lands in Ballynabanogue and in the next-door townland of Coolback. Martin Doolan and Johanna Furlong had at least one son, John, my great-great grandfather, baptized 1829 in the Cushinstown parish register showing Maria Bolger as a sponsor.

He left Ireland and boarded a ship named the SELKIRKSHIRE in Plymouth England around September 1883. His wife Annie McDermott also on the ship along with his brothers(I presume), Daniel and Matthew.
