Thomas Dowling https://www.dowling.one-name.net/g2/p1183.htm#i29567 is my maternal grandfather and I have attached some photographs of headstones, the Shirleys are his wifes family. In addition to the two sons whose names are on the headstone Thomas and Mary had two daughters who are both deceased, Margaret and Nora (my mother). Thomas was active in the IRA during the time of the War of Independence in Ireland and I have attached a pdf from the Military Archives in which he is mentioned by his company commander.
