Reba McColley, age 61, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2009 at her residence in Cleveland, after a long battle with cancer.

Reba was born April 21, 1947 in Indianapolis, IN, to the late Orville J. and Beatrice Robinson.

She graduated from Shelbyville High School in Shelbyville, Indiana in 1965. She continued her education at Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland with an Associate Degree in Applied Science - Individualized Technical Studies - Human Resource Administration, graduating in May of 2004.

On November 18, 1967 she married Cyrus M. McColley in Shelbyville Indiana.

Beginning in 1965 she was employed by the state of Indiana in the Intangibles Tax Division, the Northern Ohio Telephone Co., and the Wisconsin Bell Telephone Co. Her career at Lakeshore Technical College began in May of 1974, as an Evening Switchboard Operator. She then was the Apprenticeship Division Secretary, the Trade and Industry Division Assistant, and most recently she retired as the Assistant to the VP of instruction /Certification Officer in June of 2007.

Reba was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church in Sheboygan.
She was a past member of the Wisconsin Vocational Association, the Lakeshore Vocational Association (Past President, Secretary/Treasurer), and served as Chairperson for the State Certification Committee. She was the only non-manager to ever serve on this committee.

In addition to her husband, Cyrus (Max), Reba is survived by her son, Todd McColley of Pennsylvania; her daughter, Traci McColley of Minnesota; and her son, Troy McColley of Cleveland, WI. She is also survived by her black lab, Bear.

A memorial service for Reba will be held Saturday, January 31, 2009, at 3:00 P.M., at St. Luke United Methodist Church (623 Ontario Ave., Sheboygan). The Reverends Roger Clapp, Pastor of St. Luke, and Bishop Dave Kotajarvi, of the American Catholic Church, will be co-officiants. Friends may call on Saturday, at church from 12 NOON until the time of service.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.
