Edna Mae Dowling, 82, of Port Neches, Texas died Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Magnolia Manor in Groves, Texas.

Edna was born May 21, 1929 in Shubuta, Mississippi to Bruce Vickers and Jettie Ward Vickers. She was a resident of this area for 65 years and a member of Magnolia Assembly of God in Port Neches, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Reverend Brent Williams officiating and Reverend Greg Owens assisting. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2012 at the funeral home.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband, James Dowling and 7 brothers and sisters.

Surviving relatives include her daughter, Linda Weldon and husband, Robert Weldon, Jr. of Port Neches, Texas; brother, Vick Vickers of Jacksonville, Texas; grandsons, Mark, Scott and Steven Weldon and 8 great grandchildren.
