This 1963 first edition book has a hard cover. The book deals with Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration, Heat Pumps, and Heating. It is divided into two sections. Section I is: Training with Tools. The training section of this manual was transcribed from Mr. Doolin’s lectures given at Doolin Technical College of Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Heating. The drawings in the training section were taken from the blackboard as they were drawn by Mr. Doolin while lecturing.
The Technical Data Section is a selected collection of valuable service information. The material covers trouble shooting and repair of the Original Manufacturer’s Equipment in the field of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.

The book offers a clear history of country that changed much in the Twentieth Century. Located at the heart of Europe between east and west, Czechoslovakia was the pivot of twentieth-century European history. Created in 1918 out of the ruins of an empire, it remained a beacon of democracy in a continent darkened by fascism and communism. But unable to resist the machinations of greater powers, it succumbed to Nazi invasion and partition on the eve of World War II. After that conflict it underwent a communist dictatorship, which was lightened only briefly by the Prague Spring of 1968.
Finally, the Czechs and Slovaks reclaimed liberty and democracy in the Velvet Revolution of 1989. Sarah Buell Dowling is an award-winning artist and illustrator. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, she continued her post-graduate studies at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, Massachusetts, and with numerous nationally recognized artists in Savannah, Georgia.
Recognitions for Sarah’s art include First Prize in watermedia at the Biennale National Exhibition 2015 in Hilton Head, various awards from the Georgia Watercolor Society, The Southern Watercolor Society, The Watercolor Society of Alabama (where she just became a Signature Member), The Jekyll Island (Georgia) Art Association, the Glynn Art Association (St. Simons Island, GA), and The Mount Dora (Florida) Art Association.
Sarah has illustrated three books and several children’s toys. Her most popular book, Flip Along Fun, won the Mom’s Choice Award designating it among the best of family-friendly products. It can be seen at FlipAlongFun.com. One of the toys she illustrated received the Toys of the Year award from Parenting Magazine; another was chosen as Children’s Book of the Month Club Main Selection.
Ms. Dowling also has designed whimsical stuffed animals and women’s wear. Her creations have been featured in numerous publications, including House Beautiful, Town and Country, Mademoiselle, Vogue, and USA Today.
Sarah has three grown children and lives in Charleston, SC, with her husband and one dog, Maisy.
Artist’s Statement
I believe I was made to create. I’ve always created; I can’t help it!
I would love for my art to tug at that small place in each person that is still vulnerable. I long to awaken the sensitive part in all of us that is beneath the busyness, the slick and the cool.
I hope my art, in some small way, illuminates the way in which the Creator’s hand touches us –.
