Robert Graham Stephens age 90 of Elba, Alabama passed away Friday August 30, 2013 at his home in Elba, AL.

Funeral services will be held from First Baptist Church of Elba on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at 2:30 PM with Rev. Mart Gray and Rev. Michael Woodham officiating.

Committal services will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at the First Baptist Church of Elba, Alabama on Sunday, September 1, 2013 from 1:00 until 2:30 PM.

Survivors Include: Wife - Martha Frances Stephens, Elba, AL, Grandson - Willis Perry McArthur, IV, Gallatin, TN, and Son-in-law - Willis Perry McArthur, III, Gallatin, TN, Niece - Mary Ann Danford, Enterprise, AL, Niece- Johnni Andress, Troy, AL, and Nephew- Billy Stephens, Dothan, AL

Mr. Stephens attended Auburn University and was a veteran of World War II, having served four years in the U. S. Air Force as a B 17 pilot.

He saw action in Italy with the 15th air group flying combat missions over Europe.

Mr. Stephens was elected to seven terms as a member of the Coffee County Commission; He also served on the Southeast Regional Planning Board as chairman and is on the Executive Board of the Southeast Regional Council for the Aging.

Robert and Martha Frances traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad.

Mr. Stephens was preceded in death by his Father - William Augustus Stephens, Mother - Annie Laurie Stephens, Brothers - Ralph and John William Stephens, and his Daughter - Kay Stephens McArthur.

Hayes Funeral Home of Elba, Alabama is serving the Stephens family.

Entombment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, July 23, 2017 beginning at 2:00 PM with Rev. Michael Woodham officiating.

Private entombment will be held at Evergreen cemetery.

Visitation will be at Hayes Funeral Home on Sunday, July 23, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
