Pat - Admittedly, I didn't get around to sharing info during the earlier GET
ACQUAINTED WEEK, though I have been following the list carefully. I am Linda,
in Orange Co. CA. My cousin Pat in IN did share the ancestry of our mutual
2nd greatgrandmother Lydia DOOLEY (daughter of Thomas DOOLEY and Hannah
STADER/STATER(m. Hardin Co. KY in 1819), so I didn't want to repeat. However,
I could add a list of their offspring, in the hopes that it might ring a bell
for someone. After Hannah died in Bartholomew Co. IN, Lydia and her husband,
Daniel Boone McNAMAR, along with some siblings and their families, left for
Davis, and then Appanoose Cos., IA, where they remained and some descendents
remain until the present.
Lydia DOOLEY's siblings, as we know them:
Sarah(b. 1820); Becky Ann (b. 1822); Jacob(b. 1824) m. Mahala DUDLEY; Samuel
(b. 1826) m. Thirza HILLMAN; Thomas III(b. 1828) m. Rachel HILLMAN; our 2nd

MAPES; Jonathan Charles(b. 1835) m. Samantha WALKER; James Wesley(b. 1838);
and Uriah Mac(b. 1839).

in Orange Co.
1828) m. Rachel HILLMAN; our 2nd
ggrandmother Lydia(b. 1830-31)mentioned above; William Silas(b.1833) m. Polly
MAPES; Jonathan Charles(b. 1835) m. Samantha WALKER; James Wesley(b. 1838);
and Uriah Mac(b. 1839).
It really is a great list!
