I am trying to find out information on Chandler Dowling (parents unknown) who lived in Harvey Parish, Albert County, New Brnswick in the 1840's. He married Susan (Susannah) Buchanan of Hopewell, NB on May 23,1850. According to family history the Dowling family lived in Prince Edward Island prior to New Brunswick.

They had the following children: Emela b.1853, Mary b.1854, Phebe Ann b.1855, Chandler b.1858, Edwin b.1859, Jane b. 1860, Warren b. 1862, Irene b.1865, Lucinda b.1867 and William b. 1869. I havea also been told that the Dowling family first settled in Prince Edward Island before going to New Brunswick. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
