My mother was adopted in the early 1920s in the Colorado Springs area (maybe even Denver). I have exhausted every possibility in trying to find adoption records through the state of Colorado. No luck. I have no idea what any name would have been of the birth parents. When my grandmother died in 1966 my mother found absolutely no adoption records of any sort. The only information we have are some vague letters from an aunt or godmother of my mother giving vague information but very plainly saying "your mother didn't want you to know, so I'm not telling!"   My mother's name was XXXXXXX. (adopted name).
