31 December 2025:- Total 54,629 including living. Some more Kilcullen, Kildare work while actually doing some gardening !!! Yes, despite the cold it was sunny so I got out and trimmed back my standard roses and lavender (its a good time as they are dormant).

30 December 2025:- Total 54,619 including living.  Some baptisms from Kilcullen, Kildare and my niece Samantha named for an OBE in the New Years Honours, a great achievement.

29 December 2025:- Total 54,610 including living.  Some New York census entries and some baptisms from Kildare.

28 December 2025:- Total 54,596 including living.  Sunday Double Back Up.  Just a few sources for existing people with a couple of refurbished sources too.

27 December 2025:- Total 54,595 including living.  Mostly looking and not finding what I was after... picking up some Dowlings on the way though... a few sources added for existing people.

26 December 2025:- Total 54,587 including living.  A few sources for existing people in Carlow and Dublin with a merge of a William Dowling, so good day overall.

24 December 2025:- Total 54,580.  Some Dublin work today with a Laois family spotted while following another 'rabbit-hole'.  So, nicely diverted.  Signing-off for the Christmas now have a great day.  May be back Boxing Day. 

23 December 2025:- Total 54,571. A few military sources for existing people.  Very busy now over the Christmas period... plus it is probably good form to turn the computer off more for the festivities!

22 December 2025:- Total 54,570.  Some more lovely detail being added to Ambrose's ancestors including his father work on the Ordinance Survey Map.

21 December 2025:- Total 54,568. Sunday Double Back Up.  King's County to UK via Cork, a good day's hunting on Ambrose's ancestors.

20 December 2025:- Total 54,553.  Following a Guild email I am reviewing a Dowling once though of as English now with good evidence to say he's from King's County in Ireland... he still seems to disappear from most records but I am upgrading some sources and deleting some.  He is the father of the well-decorated Ambrose Francis Dowling.

19 December 2025:- Total 54,550. Work in Kilkenny today with a change of mind on which Sarah Dowling of two in the same place died in 1911/12!  Some cleaned-up old sources.

18 December 2025:- Total 54,549. A good day of sources with return to Kilkenny, adding a family very similar in make-up to the ancestors of the New York line I have been reviewing.  As always, more work to be done.  Wrapped some Christmas presents... yes I know it is a practically pointless exercise but the family like it!

17 December 2025:- Total 54,538. A small few New York additions but mostly working through a good long email of references.  Created an Online Repository Assistant template for the New York births to speed-up processing them... that takes a long while but pays off in the end.

16 December 2025:- Total 54,533. Mostly entries for existing people in New York.

15 December 2025:- Total 54,531. Mostly entries for existing people in New York.

14 December 2025:- Total 54,531. Sunday Double Back Up.  This seems to take a long time now.

13 December 2025:- Total 54,531.  But preparing for Christmas... added only a new New York marriage and the informant in some new correspondence in Texas.

12 December 2025:- Total 54,527.  A new census entry and 2 refurbished censuses for New York.

11 December 2025:- Total 54,527.  Busy today so just a census entry for existing people in New York.

10 December 2025:- Total 54,527.  New York marriage entry and refurbished sources.

9 December 2025:- Total 54,525.  Some related non-Dowlings in New York following great research by Fred Jaeger.  Spent an interesting time trying to decipher the handwriting on a cause of death.

8 December 2025:- Total 54,513. Some small tweaks to existing sources for a New York branch with more to come on that line.
