28 October 2025:- Total 54,239 including living. Added some Welsh Dowlings and after lots of hunting found, in a school attendance record, that they went to Australia.

27 October 2025:- Total 54,234 including living. Some Indiana census entries with some strange mis-spelling of Dowling and then some more from the Monmouthshire, Wales line.

26 October 2025:- Total 54,223 including living. Sunday Double Back Up.  No updates as I went to visit my lovely sister.

25 October 2025:- Total 54,223 including living. Some Indiana sources and people plus, following correspondence, a large update and merges for Rosina Dowling from Wales.

24 October 2025:- Total 54,206 including living.  Started off with a census refurbishment and then added some more Indiana censuses to find another significant merge, so a good days genealogy.  One of these entries had been sitting on the system since 1998 as a result of an old forum post, sometimes it just takes one more item of information and the connection becomes clear.

23 October 2025:- Total 54,192 including living.  A few merges in the USA that took some studying before deciding two individuals were one and the same.  Also had to fix a data glitch, probably caused by a computer crash many years ago resulting in children being allocated to two sets of parents... I can't see how else it could have happened... anyway corrected now by re-writing a family.  Also some source refurbishment for 1910 USA census.

21 October 2025:- Total 54,190 including living.  A cigar artifact for Bartholomew Joseph Dowling in New Hampshire and some Irish Carlow records.

19 October 2025:- Total 54,170 including living.  Sunday Double Back Up.  Very busy with other things and not too well.

14 October 2025:- Total 54,170 including living.  A few census and civil records for Roscommon and Dublin.  Mostly busy visiting friends in London today.  I don't go there a lot nowadays after a career of working there... I guess the novelty wore off some time ago!

13 October 2025:- Total 54,166 including living.  Finished adding the framework from a correspondents' excellent document.  Lots of living people which, while it does not show on the internet is immensely helpful when tracking in the future.

12 October 2025:- Total 53,989 including living.  Sunday Double Back Up.  Very busy with other things including my sister's dog!

10 October 2025:- Total 53,989 including living.  Busy with other things today but added in some framework from a correspondents' excellent document.

9 October 2025:- Total 53,934 including living.  Merging a correspondent's document of Irish Dowlings with what is in the Study, its great to see that some families have done so much work over the years.

8 October 2025:- Total 53,916 including living. Mostly census refurbishing and sources for existing people in Indiana. 

7 October 2025:- Total 53,915 including living.  Some census refurbishing today then followed-up with some New York and Indiana census sources for, mostly, existing people.

6 October 2025:- Total 53,905 including living.  A Mountrath merge today, so excellent work, if I say so myself - 2 Edward Dowlings once separate and now I am satisfied they are one and the same person.  Also some other sources.

5 October 2025:- Total 53,901 including living. Sunday Double Back Up.  Plus some early Mountrath baptisms.

4 October 2025:- Total 53,883 including living. A significant merge of two Dowlings in county Laois brought about by a death certificate received from Ireland.  This allowed me to establish a second marriage which is always tricky as it is not always explicit on marriage records.  I shouldn't have but celebrated with chocolate.

3 October 2025:- Total 53,881 including living.  Another couple of South Carolina census entries but mostly today I have been 'playing' with the website on the Lists/Artefacts page and the Map page... they still need some tweaking but I always need to see them on line to gauge this properly.

2 October 2025:- Total 53,874 including living.  Received a marriage certificate for Stockport in Cheshire and the information is sparse, making it an interesting puzzle.  I think they come from Laois but its tricky getting a sufficient connection beyond Michael's father being Peter...  it's good but I would like more to corroborate the connection as it appears Michael then returns to Ireland.

1 October 2025:- Total 53,869 including living.  Monthly Double Back Up. Lots of South Carolina census entries, many tied from 1870 to 1900.

30 September 2025:- Total 53,839 including living.  Completed all Barnwell County, South Carolina Dowlings for 1870 census,  they're all in there!
