30 June 2025:- Total 52,897 including living.  Considerable number of Find a Grave entries relating to the New York families.  Almost all with graves... I don't exclude those without but Find a Grave is a better source if the grave (or some other corroboration) is showing.

29 June 2025:- Total 52,858 including living. Sunday Single Back Up.  More census entries from Oneida County, New York.

28 June 2025:- Total 52,842 including living.  Mostly sources for existing people today.  Found some more on Daniel Dowling who was in the Charge of the Light Brigade and added to the site, on of the newspaper obituaries indicated a niece and nephew so my whole family approach will come to the fore in the next few days.

27 June 2025:- Total 52,832 including living.  Although I added a 1940 census to the family the next stage is a little tricky may await a confirmation from correspondent.

26 June 2025:- Total 52,831 including living. Added photos for New York family, it is a privilege to receive photos at all and this is a lovely family group.

25 June 2025:- Total 52,830 including living. Found a Dowling in Laois really from Tipperary so quite pleased with that fix... may do some more later.  New correspondence on a Dowling in New York - with a really lovely horsemanship picture of John Edwin Dowling - found them in 1950 census but lots more to do on this line.

24 June 2025:- Total 52,815 including living. Mostly Irish births from 1925.

22 June 2025:- Total 52,804 including living.  Sunday Single Back Up.  A number of refreshed sources with images added for existing people.  Checked out a number of people where I found no records before again to no avail.  Sometime some people just can't be found... I am probably missing just one simple confusable item!

21 June 2025:- Total 52,800 including living.  A few baptisms and deaths for Stradbally.  So hot today 34.6 Celsius... hard to do anything at all.

19 June 2025:- Total 52,792 including living.  Uploaded to website with more Stradbally baptisms... I can see a merge coming out of these baptisms if I persist with all of them for this parish.

18 June 2025:- Total 52,781 including living. Some more Stradbally baptisms but didn't upload to website today as, apparently, a Guild of One-Name Studies upgrade to the server is causing some challenges.

17 June 2025:- Total 52,777 including living. A good number of Stradbally baptisms.  One great thing about a Dowling-rich region is that one page of baptisms can have several separate Dowling families making sourcing more economical.

16 June 2025:- Total 52,754 including living.  Exploring the East London connection with Laois and went down a rabbit hole in Stradbally... promising and all good entries made.  I really must get on with some gardening.

15 June 2025:- Total 52,735 including living. Sunday Single Back Up.  A Laois family found in Essex and East London added... interesting to match with someone who is probably already in my database.

14 June 2025:- Total 52,728 including living. More on re-sourcing the Holborn complicated family, many old sources from Ancestry (which tend to be shallow) have been replaced with more full explanations and images.

13 June 2025:- Total 52,724 including living.  A few additions but some merges to reduce the numbers back to where they were.  A great day with more merges on that Holborn family that has been tricky for years.  Mostly the challenges were around second marriages and adoptions etc.  taking place at awkward times relevant to the censuses.  It was hard to see what was actually happening, a bit more tidying but I am confident I have finally cracked this case.

12 June 2025:- Total 52,724 including living. A very significant merge of two lines I now believe are identical, despite some contradictions with a 1999 email.  A very complicated set of marriages and children made this a long-term project.  Still have some tidying up to do on it to ensure as many sources are applied.

11 June 2025:- Total 52,726 including living. Nice email with a correction (I like these a lot... it's good science to be open to them and it releases, in this case, someone to join onto another family).  Found the correct death eventually once the penny dropped that the widow remarried and therefor died under another name than Dowling.  That line included a merge.  In the process of some hunting I found another possible complex merge in Holborn, London, there is an old 1999 correspondent no longer in touch who may have provided some incorrect information at the time but there is certainly a good piece of work to be done here.

9 June 2025:- Total 52,723 including living.  A few census entries and baptisms.  There is an on-line tree (several) showing Thomas Dowling 1821, who went to Mexico with a father of William.  I can't find sources for this father but can for a father of Thomas.  Hmm, more work to do.

8 June 2025:- Total 52,713 including living.  Sunday Single Back Up.  Been off ill for a while so just getting back in the swing with some California census.

1 June 2025:- Total 52,708 including living.  Monthly Double Back Up.  Not too well at present.

26 May 2025:- Total 52,708 including living. Hard work looking at Mexico.
