26 May 2025:- Total 52,708 including living. Hard work looking at Mexico.

25 May 2025:- Total 52,706 including living. Sunday Single Back Up.  A large 'framework' entered for the California family which, I believe, is my first major family from Ireland via Mexico.  Lots of sources need to be hunted down and I think the Ireland county is going to be a struggle to find.

24 May 2025:- Total 52,650 including living. Lot of looking and not finding.  A new correspondence is in from California... Some Spanish forenames in the mix.

23 May 2025:- Total 52,650 including living.  Some more sources for existing people in Canada including some 'frameworks' for related non-Dowlings to identify more of Sarah Ann Dowling's relatives in the early 1800's.

22 May 2025:- Total 52,630 including living. Still on Simcoe in Ontario with 1861 census.  Reviewed and updated my ORA (Online Repository Assistant) template for this census to include timelines for Canada from 1851 to 1861.  I'll probably follow this patter when reviewing my templates as I go.  It takes a long while to revamp them from scratch so I have made a Word document to copy and paste from.

21 May 2025:- Total 52,623 including living. Mostly 1871 censuses in Canada for existing people.  Some joins and a better picture of the local families emerging.

20 May 2025:- Total 52,616 including living. Mostly 1871 censuses in Canada for existing people which also merged Mathew Dowling with Unknown Dowling... that's a good thing!

19 May 2025:- Total 52,617 including living. Mostly 1881 censuses in Canada for existing people.

18 May 2025:- Total 52,607 including living. Sunday Single Back Up.  Busy day with non-genealogy.

17 May 2025:- Total 52,601 including living. Some more Ontario census entries... hopefully a breakthrough soon.

16 May 2025:- Total 52,578 including living. Some more Ontario, Canada census entries today. There is a little conclave in Simcoe County that needs some sorting, so more to come.  The website server is due for maintenance so this website may go down in the next week or so but it will be back.

15 May 2025:- Total 52,565 including living. Some Ontario, Canada census entries today.  This may call for DNA to make the connection to Ireland.

14 May 2025:- Total 52,541 including living.  A nice correction for a Canada death entered way back in 1998, refreshed the entry and added some census sources.  Sarah Ann Dowling in Canada is still just as elusive as she was then... nothing in Ireland found yet.  Correspondent then supplied a couple of photos of portraits, very nice and full of character.

13 May 2025:- Total 52,540 including living. A good few Dowling's from Oklahoma censuses, trying to sort out a very old (1998) posting I noted roughly at the time.

12 May 2025:- Total 52,511 including living.  A lot of sources for existing people as Dale County in Alabama is all now in the Study from 1840 to 1900.

11 May 2025:- Total 52,504 including living.  Sunday Single Back Up.  Upgraded my software from Family Tree Maker 2019 to 2024.  I added some censuses, a few people, updated existing people with census entries and generally did a 'usual' day, and the new software seemed the same as before.  This, assuming there is more stability under the hood, is fine as I don't really need a new learning curve.

10 May 2025:- Total 52,500 including living. A merge of two identical people.  Mostly sources for existing people.  What appears to be, post US Civil War, a black Dowling family next door to a white Dowling family in 1870.  The black family were unrecorded before the Civil War.

9 May 2025:- Total 52,496 including living. Some 1870/80 US censuses added today.  Completed a long awaited merge in Alabama, adding to the Dowling Family of The South.

8 May 2025:- Total 52,476 including living.  Mixed records today and some sorting.  Also added some frameworks for non-Dowlings, related pending further investigation.  Found a family linked to Ireland with no evidence attached, I can't think how it happened, other than an Ancestry World Tree entry, but I have separated them now.

7 May 2025:- Total 52,445 including living.  A lot of searching and no finding so went back to Ohio until a correspondent contacts me regarding the rabbit-hole!

6 May 2025:- Total 52,433 including living.  Followed a bit of a rabbit-hole today with a Richard Dowling Wetzel in Texas... from here I cannot see a Dowling connection.  Oh well, nothing wasted as its all in the system for future reference.

5 May 2025:- Total 52,418 including living.  A few censuses from Ohio and start of a new correspondence.

4 May 2025:- Total 52,408 including living.  Sunday Single Back Up.  Busy with other things but managed some Find a Grave entries.

3 May 2025:- Total 52,398 including living.  Some Find a Grave entries and census in USA.

2 May 2025:- Total 52,384 including living. A hotch-potch of a day with decorating in-between entries from US and UK, including a US merge in Georgia.

1 May 2025:- Total 52,376 including living. Monthly Double Back Up. Added a few census entries to existing people in UK.

30 April 2025:- Total 52,371 including living. An email with some death information on English Dowlings gave an excuse to change focus.  This information allowed the person to show on the website as up to this point I thought she could still be living.  Refurbished some sources while reviewing the family and added two censuses.
