Site Legacy Information

The site is not intended as a replacement for your own research. You should, for your own family, check the sources and establish your own grounds for accepting the relationships. This site will probably point you in the right direction but the 'warning' exists - I can be wrong.

I have in the database many loose-ends from 'old' correspondents, who would occassionally give very meagre detail, and 'old' unatributed data from when the sources were poorly described, or my skills were yet to develop into what they are now. If there is no source shown it does not mean it's wrong or right - just unsourced.

Purpose: Initial site with well known url to promote Dowling one name study and make the connections I have made available.	Purpose: Although a duplicate of the initial site the purpose here is to act as a back-up (although I have many) and also to prepare for the worst when I can no longer maintain the original site. This site is lodged with the Guild of One Name Studies and, when I die, is expected to continue. This site is minutes to hours behind the Initial site when being updated and is virtually identical to the Intial site.
