R-M269 became a separate haplogroup around 12,000 BCE, during the Stone Age and 'Neolithic' period. The most recent member with this mutation being born around 4400 BCE. New evidence, to be corroborated, suggests an origin among Eneolithic hunter-gatherers in Eastern Europe.
The possibility is this group may have had some experience with the late copper age and early bronze age. According to Lazardis et al (2022), "The most likely hypothesis" is that the entire R-M269 haplogroup originated "in the North Caucasus and steppe to the North."
This pre-historic people are on there way to Western Europe! They are not Christian, do not marry in a similar way to how we do today, if at all, and they did not have surnames. They are part of the Neolithic Revolution from hunter/gathering to settlement and farming. Pottery was in use in their locality in 555 BCE and on the coasts water levels had risen due to the melting of glaciers.
Most people tested with this connection come from Ireland, United States of America and England. This haplogroup, the most common European haplogroup, appears to originate in Eastern Europe and is associated with the Indo-European migrations.

Because 'Test Takers' are most likely still 'Living' they will not show on the website, so this list is their most recent deceased ancestor (what I call a test 'Proxy'). It then looks for all of those who are linked to the DNA-Y haplogroup of R-M269.
