   Citation Text: I discovered your site and first want to THANK YOU for taking on such a grand task to compile all of the Dowling history.
   
   My grandfather was Finton Dowling (born 1902) and I have been searching for my family’s history and you’ve been able to assist me in this search. I think we may be connected on MyHertiage.com; but I don’t have a paid subscription as of yet.
   
   I’d love to surface more history of my relatives who remained in Ireland and England and welcome any information you can share :-)
   
   Finton immigrated to the USA through Ellis Island, New York NY on September 24, 1922 – he married Margaret (McCartin...checking on this date and mother's maiden name). They had 2 daughters - Margaret Theresa Dowling (approximate DOB 1937) and Catherine Dorothy Dowling Burns (born Feb. 7, 1941). Catherine married Robert Gerard Burns (DOB - September 9, 1940) - they had 3 children ... Robert G. Burns, Jr., Madeleine Margaret Kershek (nee Burns) and myself Kathleen Patricia Diaz (nee Burns).
   
   I believe my great aunt Julia (Sis) Dowling and great uncle Eadmon (Eddie) Dowling immigrated over here as well - I recall a few cousins
