You are on the ground floor of main hall looking West at the internal east-facing wall.  You can see a deep opening in front of you and nearer the ground a ledge indicate it may have had a suspended floor.

You can look forward/left at a fireplace, turn left to look south, go back into the north -east tower or turn right to go out of the north exit.
