You are at the ground level looking WSW at the NE corner of the castle in late autumn.  We had to come on to the path because of the vegetation.  In the shadow of the north face to your right there is a large opening on the ground level and a large window opening on the 1st level above.

You can go left or right around the castle, you can't go back onto the road and you can't go forward as there is a hedge here.
